Hello,

My name is Grace Wangui Ngatia. I am 22 years old and a fifth-year Biomedical Engineering student at Kirinyaga University in Kenya. I am expecting to graduate in October this year.

I grew up in a financially challenged family, where paying for education was often difficult. In 2009, I joined the IVORY Fraternity, and their support has completely changed my life. They made it possible for me to complete my high school education and pursue my university degree. Without their support, I would not have had these opportunities.

The hardest part of my journey has been the financial uncertainty that comes with higher education. During difficult moments, I stayed motivated by remembering why I started this journey: to build a better future for myself, support my family, and one day give back to others who are facing similar challenges.

Looking back, I am grateful for how far I have come. Every semester I completed reminded me that hard work, determination, and the support of kind people can make even the biggest dreams possible. After graduation, I hope to begin my career as a Biomedical Engineer and eventually pursue a Master’s degree to contribute to improving healthcare through medical technology.

Your generosity has brought me to the final stage of my degree. As I prepare to complete my studies, I am seeking support to help me raise the funds needed to pay my final semester tuition and graduation fees.
